This dental office presented us with unique and complex challenges that brought out our best. For over 20 years, the building had previously been the home of a restaurant that had closed. To meet the requirements of its new owner, it needed to be totally reimagined and transformed for totally different purposes.

The dentist bought the building when the restaurant chain closed, but heavy kitchen equipment was still in place. This required us to completely gut the entire building, taking it down to the studs. The new dental office was designed to complement the surrounding buildings and remain true to the character and culture of the neighborhood. We had set the bar high – this was third office we had built for Dentist in 3 years.

Above the reception desk is a curved soffit which changes direction as a patient passes from the check-in to check-out. Required was both impressive design and the specialized skills of the framing team. In the end. an old, run down restaurant building became a stunning and modern professional dental office.
